Cadiz.

The weather was not at it's best when we went to Cadiz. In fact it was p.....g down all day! However we did the right thing and boarded a tour bus along with two other people. They were from Brasil and of course spoke Portuguese. Thanks to our intrepid ancestors, english was used, making it easy for us to join in. I have to say that we found Cadiz very interesting and, as the tour guide kept saying, 'very, very beautiful'. It really deserved a sunny day.The picture below sums it up.

During the tour the guide told us all about how Spanish sailors sallied forth and did marvelous things, like discovering America and such, but she was strangely silent about one Sir Francis Drake who, as everyone else knows, set fire to the Spanish fleet in Cadiz harbour. Perhaps it just slipped her mind.
